Earth Day - Don't Be An Energy Hog is a mini-island. It was made to encourage players to save electricity and raise awareness for Earth Day.
Walkthrough[]
You will start in front of a house. There will be a pig outside that says, "Don't be an energy hog!" Enter the house. Directions will come up that tell you to make sure all the electronics are off in 60 seconds. When you play it, there will be three floors. On each floor is an energy hog. You must turn everything off. When a person starts to walk, follow them, and turn those appliances off. Your rewards will be 50 credits and an earth day shirt with a recycling sign on it.
Goofs[]
- If you visit the mini-island from Early Poptropica Island or Super Power Island, and you have the Jet Pack or the flying power on, you can actually fly! Also, the balloon from Counterfeit Island lets you jump higher. This makes it much easier to complete the mini-island.

- "Energy hog" is a term used to describe a person who wastes a lot of electricity. It is derived from the greedy and gluttonous way hogs eat.
