The Football is an item from Great Pumpkin Island.
At first, Lucy asks Charlie to kick the football but he refuses, saying she will just pull it away. Lucy denies this and she and Charlie sign a contract saying she won't pull the ball away. She does it anyway and they leave, forgetting the football. You can now pick it up and use it to dislodge Snoopy's hat from the tree.
