The Ginger Ale is an item that is obtained in Lunar Colony Island. It is found on Captain Gordon's table, and can be acquired only after you talk to Hatcher.

The ginger ale is given to Hatcher, who gets airsick before the space mission. He proceeds to state that he "left his wallet in the car" and leaves, locking you in the spaceship.
