Hal is a resident of Eastman and one of the first Poptropicans who were transformed into Zomberries. Hal was standing next to Joe Puddy during transformation, so afterwards saw him as a target. However, Joe eluded Hal with ease, but got caught by Fred and Aisha. Hal came up to aid them in their attack on Joe, but the Police helicopter distracted him and the other Zomberries with a spotlight. (Zomberry: Day Zero)
