The Shrink Ray is a store item. It was first seen on Shrink Ray Island, where is revealed that it was created by C.J. You can also buy it in the store for 250 credits. If you put this on and press spacebar, it will shoot a green ray that can shrink other poptropicans.
Appearance[]
The Shrink Ray resembles a crude gun put together with numerous spare parts like wires, dials and tape. There is a prominent dial at the side that allows the ray to switch between "Shrink" and "Grow."
History[]
C.J. created the shrink ray as a top-secret science project for the Public School 201 River City Science Fair.
Role on Shrink Ray Island[]
When you discover the message by C.J. under her microscope, Mr. Silva walks into the room dressed as a wild west villain. He uses the ray to shrink you down and you must find out what happened to C.J.. After finding C.J. captive in his office, Mr. Silva will walk in and attempt to shrink you to microscopic size. You have to hide behind numerous objects and hold out long enough for you to make it to the table and hide behind the mirror. The ray will then bounce off the mirror and make Mr. Silva tiny, causing him to fall into the anthill. You and C.J. then push the dial to "Grow" and unshrink yourselves.

- Due to the curved handle and the placement of your Poptropican's hand, it appears that you aren't holding the shrink ray gun at all, but rather thin air.
- The Shrink Ray gun has two settings on it, shrink and grow.
