He tells you that inside the minds of every Super villain is a totem representing their evil, and that it's your job to find them and bring them back so that the villains will no longer be evil. He guides you to the dream machine, and tells you to collect them. It's time to enter the heart of darkness! So first, you must enter the dream of Captain Crawfish.

A Pirate's Life for Me (And Captain Crawfish)[]

You enter Captain Crawfish’s dream and you find yourself inside of a ship called the H.M.S. Seachicken. There are a bunch of transparent, ghost-like pirates that look like Captain Crawfish that are sleeping, some on beds, others on chairs. The boat is tossing and turning, which causes the beds to slide across the room and the chairs to rock slowly. On top of the doorway you see a shelf that is opening and closing because of the ship's movements. Inside the shelf is an orange key. Jump onto a swinging light while avoiding one of the sleeping pirates that is on a bed, and then jump up and grab the key. It will not appear in your item bag, because it opens something different. But it is a handheld item. Jump onto another swinging light which is to your right. Then jump to the next one to avoid falling onto one of the sleeping pirates. Then hop up again so that you don't walk onto the pirate, and you will probably find a bottle with a model ship in it. Leave it alone for now, since you're WAY too big to fit in it. Walk down the rope ladder, while avoiding the swinging anchor, because it will knock you into the wall. Jump over the pirate on the bed and you'll find an orange chest. open it and you will receive a Stopwatch. You will see another shelf above you, this time with a green key. Jump onto another swinging light and jump to grab it. Now maneuver across the room to the left and climb up the next rope ladder, avoiding the pirates and the anchor, of course. Once you get to the top again, you'll see above you a green chest, but it's too high to jump to. Jump over the pirate in the chair, and use the next swinging light to jump to where the chest is. Open it, and you'll receive bottle of Grog-Brand Turpentine. Now you can exit the dream. Now you can go into the dream of Dr. Hare.

Dream Ant-ics[]

Enter Dr. Hare's dream, and you will see poor Dr. Hare being carried away by strange ant creatures. They carry him into a large anthill. You have a pickaxe, so you begin to dig into the layers of dirt underground. Just smash your pickaxe on the area you want to break over and over again until it breaks open. Sometimes there will be an area with ants, and they will hurt you and lower your health, and when you lose all your health, you will have to try again. So, when you get in a pinch, use your pickaxe to defend yourself. When you reach the bottom, you'll fall into a hole, which will lead you to the next level. This layer has a few diamond rocks. You can't break through them with your pickaxe, so you just avoid them. You also find strange blue ants, which can break through walls in the same system as your pickaxe. At one point, you'll fall into a pit, and receive an Empty Sprayer. Then just click wake up.

Framed![]

Now that you have everything, enter Black Widow’s dream. You will see a messed up exhibition in an art museum. go down and you will see Black Widow. You ask here what's going on, and she says here "exhibition" was finally up for all to see. You ask her if she was the one who made the mess, but she says she made it "better." You ask her what paintings are up, and she says the only one worth looking at was a detailed self-portrait she made. You see a bunch of vandalized paintings, and you need to clean them up, so fill the Empty Sprayer with the Grog-Brand Turpentine. Black Widow will realize what you're doing and says that you're "just like all the rest but won't ignore her genius." She sends a bunch of spiders to hang down and bite you. The spiders aren't much of a problem, so you go click on Claude Monet's Water Lilies, but instead you actually enter the painting. Now you must maneuver across the painting and spray out all the vandalism on the painting. While of course, avoiding the spiders. Next you do the same in Van Gogh's Starry Night. In the top right corner of this painting, you will see a keyring. Jump onto it to receive the Crystal Key. Once you're done with that one, go into Pablo Picasso's Three Musicians and do the same as the first two. On the top left corner, jump up and you'll receive the Shrinking Potion. Once you're done, go out and the Black Widow will get mad again, stating that you won't destroy her work. She will run after you, trying to hit you. While she is laughing from the first hit, run up and start spraying her self-portrait. It will melt, she will disappear and all that will be left is Black Widow's Paintbrush Totem.

Whatever floats your boat....[]

Go back to Captain Crawfish's dream. Now remember that ship in the bottle? Well, go back to that now. Use the Shrinking Potion to enter the bottle. Inside, you will be in the model ship totem, which now looks like the outside of the Seachicken. There are more sleeping pirates, but this time they're all on cannons. You need to find a way to break open the bottle. You finally spot it: A cannon near the bottom, pointing to the top of the bottle. If you try to shoot it, though, it will hit one of the cannons sliding down the two masts of the Seachicken. So go up to the first mast and you'll discover that at one point, the cannon will roll into a bin with one side closed and another open. You'll find the door sitting at the bottom. Pull it up to trap the cannon in it. Do the same with the next one. Now go down and shoot the cannon, and it will hit the top of the bottle. The bottle breaks and you go back to normal size, receiving Captain Crawfish's Model Pirate Ship Totem. Now you will automatically wake up.

Time stops when you're having fun[]

Now enter Binary Bard's dream. You will see Mordred before he is in the Binary Bard state, sitting on a chair. You ask him what's going on, and he says he's trapped in the room, because the door seems to have a mind of its own. It is indeed opening and closing over and over really fast, and you can't run through. Use the Stopwatch from Captain Crawfish's dream to freeze time right when the door's opening. Mordred will run through. You follow him, and the door shuts behind you. This room is filled with broken machines and torn pictures. Freeze time again and do the same thing. You will now be in a room with a Merlin blueprint. The blueprint comes alive, only larger with red eyes. It tries to carry you into the clouds, but you run off. Now freeze time and run out, leaving Merlin back in the room. Next, a Mechanical Mouse blueprint comes to life and tries to pick you up and carry you away. Instead of a door, there's a wall with an opening at the top, but you can't reach it. Freeze time when the mouse picks you up near the wall. Jump up into the opening. You will see a vault with a Binary Bard suit outside. The bionic eye then lights up. Now enter the door, and you will find yourself in a room with a bunch of platforms with a standing platform on one side and a bunch of spikes on the other side. Freeze time on each one to stand on the platform side. Keep doing this until you reach the end. Near the end, you will find a Diamond Drill. Now you will see a doorway to the REAL inside of the vault. You go in and see Mordred turn into Binary Bard inside a pod in a giant clock. Now you need to shock him three times by running next to the crystals and waiting for an electric light to bulge out and freeze time while it's happening. There are four areas with Crystals, wait 'till the hour hand and minute hand are in the correct places, so just make sure that the light bulges out. Once he's shocked three times, he will disappear and Binary Bard's Astrolabe Totem falls out. Now you can wake up.

Your Worst Night-Hare[]

Go back to Dr. Hare's dream and equip the Diamond Drill to break through the diamond rock. Eventually, you will end up in the Ant's lair. You see that Dr. Hare is trapped in a mound of dirt. Now keep breaking through the top until you discover Dr. Hare's Golden Carrot Totem. Then go to the tunnel at the bottom, and it will lead you to the surface. You will pop out of the anthill, and Dr. Hare will say that's not how the dream usually ends, and he's glad. Then he runs off, and you wake up.

The Big Reveal[]

After you leave the final dream, you give Dr. Jupiter the Totems you collected, and tell him that the two of you better destroy them. But he says he has "other plans." Then he reveals himself as Zeus - the final boss of Mythology Island! He says that with the totems, he will finally rule Poptropica. A cut scene is then shown as Zeus blasts out of Erewhon and you and the villains fall into the sea. You and the villains swim away, but suddenly a rumble comes out from below the surface and you see Poseidon! He says that he can't stop his brother, and that this is your mess to clean up. He gives his trident to defeat Zeus. Then during another cut scene, you will find that Zeus is on a rampage around Poptropica. Here's the final battle, and it's a lot like Mythology Island. First, destroy the things that keep the totems engraved into Zeus' "Statue of Liberty" parody sculpture. He will try to fix them, so you have to shoot every one in a while to distract him. Also, you'll need to avoid two obstacles that he'll probably eventually put in your way: Flaming rocks falling from the sky (Binary Bard's totem) and cloud cannons that shoot small cannonballs at you at a distance from both sides (Captain Crawfish's totem) once the totems are destroyed, the power of the totem will no longer be available to Zeus. The totems can be found in these areas: Captain Crawfish's Model Pirate Ship Totem is found in the pedestal of the statue. Black Widow's Paintbrush Totem can be found in the top of the Bible, Dr. Hare's Golden Carrot Totem is in the torch, and you'll find Binary Bard's Astrolabe Totem in Zeus chest in the statue. Also, you'll see little clouds floating around. You need to collect them so that you don't run out of cloud and fall into the sea. After you drop out all the totems, start shooting Zeus until he runs out of cloud and gets fed up. He then enters the statue and uses it's eyes to send frequent blasts of lightning. Keep shooting the statues eyes until they go blank and Zeus comes out and falls into the ocean. You go back to Erewhon and the guards lock Zeus up in the Dream Machine and give you the Island Medallion as a reward. Congrats! You have completed the Super Villain Island.

Glitches[]

  • Dr. Hare Ears Power Goof/Glitch: When you activate the Dr. Hare Ears Power from your items, those who were sleeping in the Dream Machine will have their eye's open. And instead wear the Dr. Hare Ears Power. The accessories of the villains even come off (example: Binary Bard's bionic eye, Dr. Hare's goggles, Captain Crawfish's eyepatch).
  • Captain Crawfish's Dream Glitch: Sometimes when you enter Captain Crawfish's dream everything will stand still, the cabinets won't open, and you won't be able to wake up any of the sleeping pirates or even get on their beds. To fix this I just reloaded the page and everything was up and running again

Trivia[]

  • In the elevator, you can see some of the past villains such as the Super Power Island super-powered criminals, Mr. Silva, El Mustachio, and Gretchen Grimlock.
  • "Erewhon" is an anagram of the word "Nowhere."
  • During the scene where you see a TV showing the destruction Zeus has caused, you can see the name PNN, which is a reference to the television news network CNN.
  • During the boss battle with Zeus, there is a version of the Statue of Liberty except with Zeus's head on it.
  • During the final battle, Zeus uses the totems to attack you (i.e.: cannons-Crawfish, meteorites-Binary Bard).
  • In "Dr. Jupiter's" lab, a developer, very similar to the one used in Cryptids Island, is seen.
  • This island may be a reference to the movie Inception as they both involve dream totems and entering the dreams of others.
  • Director D, Mademoiselle Moreau and Speeding Spike do not appear in Super Villain Island like the other villains. Either they were not brought to Erewhon in the first place or they found a way to escape the prison.
  • The bottled ship in Captain Crawfish's dream was called the H.M.S Seachicken which is a reference to the ship the H.M.S Beagle.
  • Not every villain from Poptropica (such as Director D and Speeding Spike) returned.
  • The Night Hare costume was the idea of Jordan Leary (the creator of Dr. Hare).
  • This is the second island with Poseidon's Trident, the first being Mythology Island.
  • The Evil Henchmen members-only item has a henchman for each villain. A Mechanical Mouse for Binary Bard, a crayfish for Captain Crawfish, a black widow spider for Black Widow, and a pink bunny rabbit (wearing green goggles) for Dr. Hare.
  • The prison Erewhon is a reference to the prison with the same name in the movie Face/Off.
  • The helicopter has the production code R-SUEZ 104X on it. SUEZ spelled backwards is ZEUS, foreshadowing Zeus making an appearance on Super Villain Island.
  • "Dr. Jupiter's" name is a reference to the Roman name for Zeus.
  • It is briefly mentioned at the beginning of the island that many oil rig workers have been volunteered for Dr. Jupiter's experiment. However, since you don't see any of them throughout the island, it must be assumed that they either died or were captured sometime at Erewhon.
